Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
The short version. Your trading journal is private: only you can see it. We collect only what we need to run DivineTrades. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you ask for them. You can download all your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.

1. Who we are
DivineTrades is a trading journal run by Divinetrades Technologies LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA (“DivineTrades”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the DivineTrades website and journal (the “Service”), and what we do with it. For people in the European Economic Area or the UK, we are the “controller” of your personal data.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address and password. Your password is stored only as a secure scrambled “hash”; we can’t see it.
- Username: the player name you choose.
- Your journal: everything you write or save in it, such as trades, notes, daily plans and reviews, moods, check-ins, rules, patterns, goals and settings.
- Pictures and videos you upload, such as chart screenshots and screen recordings.
- Messages you send us, for example to support.
- Email choices: whether you want marketing emails.
- Launch waitlist: if you join the waitlist on divinetrades.io, your email address and whether you also want news and tips.
Information collected automatically
- Activity the game uses: when you save journal entries (timestamps), so XP and levels are counted fairly, and the days you open the journal.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting and database providers record technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages and data requests made, and the time. These logs are used for security, stopping abuse and fixing problems.
- Bot check: on the sign-in screens, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person, not a bot. It looks at signals from your browser and device to do this.
Website visit counts: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit our website and which pages they open. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t collect your name or email, and doesn’t follow you across other websites.
We don’t use advertising trackers, and we don’t connect to your brokerage accounts.
3. How we use it
| What we do | Why we’re allowed to (legal basis) |
|---|---|
| Create and run your account, save and show your journal, count XP and levels | To provide the Service you signed up for (contract) |
| Send account emails: confirm your email, reset your password, tell you about important changes | To provide the Service (contract) |
| Keep the Service secure, stop bots, cheating and abuse, fix problems | Our legitimate interest in a safe, working, fair Service |
| Email you when DivineTrades launches (if you join the waitlist), and send news, tips and offers (only if you ask for them) | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Count website visits so we can improve the site | Our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used |
| Keep records the law requires, and respond to legal requests | Legal obligation |
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t “share” it for targeted advertising. We don’t use your journal to train AI models, and we don’t make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted companies to run the Service. They handle data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us:
| Company | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage (your account, journal, pictures and videos). Servers in the United States. |
| Cloudflare | Hosting the website, protection against attacks, the Turnstile bot check, website visit counts (Web Analytics) and storing the launch waitlist. |
| Zoho (Zoho Mail and ZeptoMail) | Sending account emails and handling support emails. |
We may also share information if the law requires it (for example, a valid court order), to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or DivineTrades, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business (in which case this policy would continue to protect your information, and we would tell you). Other players can’t see your journal.
5. Cookies and browser storage
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. To make the journal work, your browser stores a few things on your own device:
- your sign-in session, so you stay signed in;
- your username and small app settings, so the journal opens quickly;
- copies of your own pictures and videos, so they load fast (these are deleted when you sign out).
The Cloudflare Turnstile bot check may also use its own storage that is strictly needed for security. Because all of this is needed to provide the Service, it doesn’t need a cookie banner. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings (you’ll then need to sign in again).
6. Emails
Account emails (such as email confirmation, password resets and important notices about your account or these terms) are part of the Service, so we send them even if you don’t want marketing.
Launch waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we’ll email you when DivineTrades launches. We only send news and tips as well if you tick that box. Every email has a link to leave the list.
Marketing emails (news, tips and offers) are off unless you switch them on in Settings. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click, without signing in. You can also switch them off any time in Settings, or by emailing us.
7. How long we keep it
- Your account and journal: for as long as you have an account.
- Pictures and videos you no longer use: if a picture or video hasn’t been used anywhere in your journal (including its automatic safety copies) for 7 days, it is removed automatically.
- After you delete your account: see the next section.
- Technical logs: kept by our providers for a limited time for security and troubleshooting, usually a few days to a few weeks.
- Email choices: if you unsubscribe, we keep a record that you did, so we don’t email you again by mistake.
- Launch waitlist: until we’ve emailed you about the launch, or until you leave the waitlist. Leaving the waitlist deletes your email from it straight away.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & account → Delete my account. Before you do, you can download a full backup of your journal, pictures and videos.
- Your account is locked straight away.
- You have 7 days to change your mind: sign in and choose “Keep my account”.
- After 7 days, your account, journal, pictures, videos, username, XP and level are permanently erased. This can’t be undone.
- Copies in our providers’ routine backups (if any) are overwritten in the normal backup cycle, usually within 30 days. Technical logs expire on their usual schedule. We may keep information we must keep by law.
If you can’t sign in, email support@divinetrades.io from the email address on your account and we’ll help.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK, California or other US states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- access your personal information and get a copy of it (you can download everything yourself with Data & Backup → Full backup);
- correct it (most of it you can edit yourself in the journal and Settings);
- delete it (Settings → Delete my account);
- move it to another service (the backup file is a standard format);
- object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent (for example, switch off marketing emails);
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we don’t do either;
- not be treated differently for using any of these rights.
To use a right we haven’t built into the app, email support@divinetrades.io. We may need to confirm it’s really you, and we’ll answer within the time the law requires (usually 30 to 45 days). If you’re in the EU or UK and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We protect your information with, among other things: encrypted connections (HTTPS) everywhere; database rules that let each account reach only its own journal and files; private file storage; a bot check on sign-in; and regular security checks. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don’t use anywhere else. If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
11. Where your data is stored
DivineTrades is run from the United States, and your data is stored on servers in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US. Where the law requires it (for example for the EU or UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
12. Age limit
DivineTrades is only for people who are 18 or older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and if a change is important, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
